Grove Library has reopened

The Grove Library has reopened as of 9.00am Monday 18th May and normal hours have been reinstated.

Certain changes have been enacted to conform to government directives.

We ask patrons to please space their visits for the first week to ensure social distancing. This is due to limited public numbers being allowed in at one time.

  • Please limit your visit to an hour. There will be a ‘browse and borrow’ approach in place.
  • Home delivery will still be available to those who are still housebound or self-isolating.
  • There will be limited computer facilities available initially, and they will be available for essential use only. Please ring the library to confirm availability on 9286 8686.
  • All returned library items will be quarantined for 48 hours, to ensure safety.
  • Baby and toddler programs will not be returning in the first week as we still need to sort out the logistics of these activities. There will be a staggered approach to reinstating them to ensure everyone’s safety.
  • Other new measures include new plexiglass screens and space markers for social distancing.

We look forward to welcoming you back to your library.
