About Us

Welcome to The Grove Library which is jointly managed by three councils – the Town of Mosman Park, the Town of Cottesloe, and the Shire of Peppermint Grove.

Funding for library services is provided by each Council in proportion to its population, as per the latest national Census. Additional funding and support for the purchase of books, and access to state wide on-line resources is provided by the Library Board and the State Library of Western Australia.

The Grove also cooperates with its neighbouring Councils of Claremont, Nedlands and Subiaco, known as the Western Suburbs Library Group. With a combined library catalogue and loans system, and a common membership database, members joining at any library automatically become members of all libraries, with free access to a much wider selection of books and other resources from all Western Suburbs Group libraries.
