Childrens Book Week 2024
The Library is gearing up to the biggest event of the year Childrens Book Week 2024
From Saturday 17 August to Friday, 23 August.
Children’s Book Week is the annual event celebrating Australian books, authors and illustrators of children’s books and reading in August every year.
Sessions by authors and illustrators are made available to local schools in second term hosted by The Grove Library.
Students will develop their literacy knowledge and be inspired to read, write and draw.
We will be showcasing an amazing selection of local talented authors and illustrators over the week with up to 800 students in attendance over the week.
This year’s stars include:
- Renee Treml - Monday 19th August
- Norman Jorgensen - Tuesday 20th August
- Karen Blair Wednesday - 21st August
- Cristy Burne Thursday - 22 August.
Expressions of interest for any of these sessions are open to all local schools
